Indeed..

And I think of magnets that can last for ever.

Like think of a stream.. Set up a spinning thing. You take all joints, and magnetize them so that they do not touche, so there is not possibility for anything to we worn...

Then you take the power of the induction (?) and use some of it to maintain the power of all the magnetized joints...

No war and tear, just free energy?

I may explain it stupid, but the idea as I see it is just so simple...

Nothing is free, least of all energy.

It takes energy to cause magnetic induction. At the very best, you will have to put in a little more than you get out. You will never get out more than you put in.

LOL have you never seen natural magnets?

i was fascinated by them when i was younger. When you add an electromagnet to a natural magnet in the right way, you have a motor (or generator).

i think its possible to create something that would harness the natural magnets but they do run out after a long long time.

What is a magnetic field? Does it actually have a physical property - i mean is it made of particles or is it something that we are yet to understand.

The magnetic field is a force field, like the gravitational field.

The magnetic and electric field were unified, they are more or less the same, by Maxwell. This is what we call the electromagnetic field. Maxwells equations of the electromagnetic field have wavelike solutions. Electromagnetic waves as light and radiowaves are solutions of Maxwells equations.

From a Quantum Mechanics point of view, the Photon is the messenger(force carrier) particle of the electromagnetic force. In this way light can thus be seen as a particle.

All these terms probably only result in more questions if they are new. I can't easily explain force fields etc in any detail. I can give you some links or books if you are interested.

i've tried building a natural magnet free energy device / perpetual motion.

i've tried many different designs, in fact i have one of my designs sat in front of me now!

The unforeseen problem is that they always equal themselves back out - no matter how you arrange the magnets / make the system. it always takes another source of power to continue the flow and then the device has failed its objective.


Annom - thanks for the bit on fields, i do understand - to some extent anyway!

Nature could be the one paying. Free energy mean free of cost for people.
If a natural magnet could be turned on/off with the addition/subtraction of a small component that uses much less energy (to switch on/off) than the magnet produces when it is on, it should be possible to gain much energy if that maget is used to lift something, and then when it is turned off the friction of that something falling against a surface could produce energy that is freely taken. Once the item falls, the narutal magnetism is allowed to re-lift the item.

Only a sudden concept, seems like it would work to me.
