I think I've seen at least three of these. Is it a trend of some sort? What's the significance?

I don't see any dogs with random objects on their heads.

Is it just that cats are fun to mess with like that?

Wow! Is that your cat? It rolls joints for ya? I wish my cat would do that.

One time I was laying in bed and I had a joint in the ashtray on my nightstand. So my cat comes up on the bed and then goes over by it. Then she proceeded to grab the joint out of the ashtray with her mouth and run away with it. No shit! True story, I swear to God. Fortunately I was able to get it back before she ate it or something.

Anyway, not to drop names or anything but I know ShroomieofDoomie used to have a cat with a lime peel or something on it's head. I saw one with an eggplant too. There's one with a dome type thing that says "Get out of my head Charles". And then I just saw another with rabbit ears on it's head. What's up with that?
