How is Merriman even considered for Defensive Player of the Year?

defensive rookie of the year should go to either marc anderson or devin hester. im leaning towards marc anderson though. cause devin hester is not a very good corner. just a dominating return guy.. and anderson has the most sacks for a rookie ever.. so yea, give it to him

I think there is a fundamental difference between cheating and taking a supplement that has a chemical banned by the NFL. Its not like he was shooting up steroids. He took a supplement to help with his workout and one of the LEGAL parts of it happened to be BANNED by the NFL. It was his fault for not knowing, I admit that, but I dont think we should crucify him for it. He wasnt pulling a Romanowski.

But, if he doesnt get it... I vote Champ Bailey as well.

Also, DROY should go to Demeco Ryans, who was shafted out of the Pro-Bowl, despite being the number two tackler in the league.
Ernie Sims could also be considered, as he's got the most tackles of any rookie outside linebacker.

i agree.

and i agree also about merriman, he wasnt using an illegal substance.. just a supplement that happened to be banned by the NFL.. and if im correct it was only banned in 2002.. fairly reccently.. he served his 5 game suspension and continues to dominate

champ baily should def get the award.

def rookie of the year... johnathan joseph from cincy should atleast get an honorable mention
