Dehydrator Tube

I just kinda dreampt this up a few minutes ago. Desiccant to reduce humidity and a fan to create a low pressure zone in the tube and increase air flow over mushies. I think it would work and be cheaper than a dehydrator (and no heating element) MSpaint ftw! If the idea is crap let me know :smile:

after buying supplies and going through the work to rig that up, i would just buy a dehydrator for 40 bucks. no messy desiccant to worry about, ever.

I hear ya...used to be like that too. I was suggesting the best "bang for the buck" and practical method of drying shrooms, and that would be a dehydrator. By no means am I trying to dissuade you from doing something creative, go for it.
