Have you read the book or the series of articles it was based on?

Webb was not just making everything up because he was paranoid. His work is based on countless hours spent talking to real people and following leads.

It's undeniable that rogue elements within several federal agencies protected top cocaine importers throughout the 80s and 90s. Internal investigations either never took place or were stonewalled. Publicity was carefully controlled so most people had no idea what was going on.

I was in rehab back when i was 17 with alot of people in this same situations, but i never really understood it till i came home and saw it happen first hand to a few friends.....

its amazing how much of a grip we can allow a drug to have over us...

Yeah that shit sucks, crack is wack. I have had friends also get crazy on it. Lost a lot from it, and now are doing time. They were good friends growing up. Then around high school, they took high to seriously.

ummm he was smoking crack with him... sometimes when certain hard drugs have you by the balls, you begin to overcome things like morals, and empathy, and your brain switches right over to the fucking people over for more crack side.
