Object is with OPAQUE trays.
You cannot see when the substrate is 101% colonized.
You have to judge by the top view & incubation length.

About the time I figure one is ready to add a casing cover to.
They are usually throwing out rhizo type growth.

Now, i just wait for them to do that.
then add a casing cover.
Incubate for a couple more days.
Then expose to pinning conditions, FAE & 12/12 light cycle.

Works like a charm.
