Localization question (mostly language problem)

Lo guys.. This is my first post here, and hopefully not last ;)

I've gotta question... It might be bit offtopic, but doesnot belong to "offtopic" forum neither, so posted it here ;)

Well... I am living in Finland, but finnish isn't my native language, and I have *REALLY* hard time to translate word "Vermiculite" to local language (as well as few other words, but doesnot matter at the moment), so I could consider what to look in stores..

tell the poeple working at the store your looking for the stuff the include in pottoing soil to lighten the soil. (they use vermiculite or perlite to lightin soil so that certain plaints can grow) its usually in the same isle as plant food and stuff. It looks like grey crystalic peices, very light for the size of bag its in, and should be very inexpensive. (4$US for 8.8L)

goes wrong.

Or you could just use cooked long grain brown rice and X out vermiculite all together.

Sorry, I know a little Finnish, but the word for "vermiculite" escapes me :wink:.  I would just visit a garden store and check out all the bagged soil products they have.  If you know what mica looks like you should recognize it right away.
