I have a girlfriend and I feel like I am being too nice. Maybe it's time I grow a set of balls and stop being so nice. Being nice only goes so far, and in a relationship it seems like it gets you no where.

yea not all girls are like that man, yea a good portion are retarded and don't know what the fuck they want. i mean i hate girls too but not all of them are so bad. maybe you need to stop looking for that someone and have her find you! just lay back get some ass when you need it and be happy with yourself. please yourself and then a nice girl will come along and a fairytale will be born! or that's my philosophy anyway.

It's not that women want assholes...it's that they are willing to fall for or put up with an asshole if the said asshole offers them something that they want.  Women want confident guys who have stuff going on and who are fun to be around and a lot of times the guys that meet these criteria tend to be asshole-like.  The reason they tend to be asshole-like is because they have so many social options.  They don't need to kiss ass to anybody.  So many people want to be around them that they can afford to be jerk-like.

If you are too nice, too clingy, and too in need of love then that is a major turn-off for both men and women.  Do you want a person who is going to follow you around like a dorky puppy dog?  People don't want to go out with people who are lower on the "social ladder" than them.  Could you see some super social girl who has tons of friends and an exciting life going out with a shy, nice, and quiet guy?  Hell no...she'll get bored of him in five minutes.

No offense to the women out there...but a significant amount of females get bored easily.  You have to delicately balance your approach and execution if you are a guy who is looking to hold onto a girl.  It's like having a job.  :shrug:
