What songs do you love playing when you have the chance to use an excellent sound system?
...or songs you just love to play! whatever the sound system!
But it's a song you listen to for the quality - favorite or not...
For me, Joan Baez - Diamonds and Rust is a great one to me. ACDC - Thunderstruck Live @ Donnington is another one I love to crank :P
What about you?

Mr. Bungle has some really great recordings. Most of it done "black box" style. it also has a lot of panning and uses a bunch of phasing techniques togive distance imaging.
Also, Esquivel, back in the day when "Hi-Fi" was coming out, his albums were the demo's used to show off those systems.
Also, Kid A by Radiohead was a very well mixed album.

For me, it also happens to be my all-time favorite: the Beatles' "A Day in the Life."
It really was a new high water mark in studio production techniques (just like the rest of Sgt. Pepper), all the more impressive for how primitive the available technology was in 1967 compared to even a decade later, much less today's standard.

Morning View by Incubus, anyone?
That album rules in headphones or surround sound.

HEHE, after I bought a pair of Shure E5Cs I really started appreciating production as well as musicality. Floyd is always good for production value, but it gets old. Some of the most well produced songs though are really awful on the whole. That being said, POP songs are amazing pieces of work when you have access to great equipment. If you can get past the artists (e.g. NSync & Kylie Minogue) and pay more attention to the producers you'll hear some amazing details that are simply pristine.
As far as good music goes, Van Halen - Van Halen is a pretty amazing record to crank on a nice system. Just make sure its from CD or lossless encodings of course. I also find Aphex Twin albums to be extremely high in production value. Occasionally, pop in a choral CD or symphony piece that was well recorded and just close your eyes and put the instruments in their place. Very impressive how you can imagine yourself in the exact place in front of these musicians where the microphones sat.
