mycelium or cobweb??

Is there any big difference that you can tell between mycelium and cobwem? i just took a cake out from the jar and its fully colinized. i cant tell if theres cob web mixed in or not. any help with tips to identifying??

Do a search... this has been answered many many times.

cobweb is dull grey, cubensis mycelium is bright white.

Just another spore in the wind.

rizo mycellium could apear to be cobweb. Cobweb will be an off color of white tho i believe(never seen it besides pics).

This is the only time I really feel alive.

can I ask what type of lil' guys you are raising? My EQs started out looking cobwebby for the first few days, and then started showing the ropish vines coming out of them until I couldnt see the cob webby stuff. Ive noticed that if you have a jar that has only 2 or 3 innoc points that are farther ahead, if the other innoc points show up and start to catch up they can look like cobweb contam.

Hope this helps.

BTW: My jars took 18 days to fully colonize at 85 degrees F
