Hydroponics... Watering ????

Hi... Newbie question here...

I've setup some hydroponics.. my plants are about 6 inches tall.. and on there 3/4 set of leaves.. I have them in rockwool now.. and I am about to put them in the hydroton.. and throw them in the hydropinics unit..

My question is what should be the pressure of water coming out of the hydroponics.. ? Should it be steady stream ? a constant drip ? a small drip ever 15 minutes of 5 hours ? or sooner ? Does anyone know ?

what do you have for a system??

if it is a top drip then i had my drip system on for 15 min and off for 1 hour and it worked great, some people use more of a constant drip but i strated to get root rot. imo you just need to experiment a lil

yup it really depends on the system, just keep in mind you want to allow both air and moisture for the roots!
