Mycelium on stalks -> dried consumption?
    #630075 - 05/14/02 09:32 AM (15 years, 18 days ago)

I had a lot of fuffy white mycelium growing on the stalks of all my mushrooms on my last casing. I harvested the shrooms and dried them without removing the mycelium.

Will this cause or increase the chances of nausea during the trip? Should I remove mycelium from the stalks before drying? What about vermiculite? I have some dried vermiculite stuck to the bottom of the dried shrooms as well. Should I avoid consuming the part with the vermiculite?

I'd avoid the eating vermiculite it's gross stuff.
The mycellium is fine though.

Try using a soft bristle tooth brush to remove the casing from the shroom.
