newbie question- viable spores from dried shrooms?

am living in japan, can't get spores easily. at the moment i can buy dried shrooms from headshops but it becomes illegal from june 6.
yes i could stock up...and i will, but i have my old gro-kit stashed away and only lack spores.
so the question is can i get useful spores from the dried shrooms?
if so, what would be the best way to go about it?...save the crumbs in the bottom of the bag? is it that simple?
and which varieties would be the best to use?

if you can manage agar, the best idea would be to stick a bit of gill onto antibiotic agar and isolate the most promising looking sector. If you can't do that make a syringe from some gill powder and inoculate LOADS of jars, you might get lucky with 1 or2.
Or else just get someone to send you a print, the ban doesn't come into effect until June, or am I wrong?

thanks champ, ive got all the gear, including agar.
i will try the en masse tip, one of them has gotta work.
and if it doesnt, well, i might have to take you up on your kind offer.
mjshroomer is gonna post up a field guide with maps for shrooms over here, i may get lucky and get some prints that way, some varieties are up in june, the rest in autumn.
