8 gram mushroom tea, wow, and never again

8.0 on the scales

put into coffee grinder

into a coffee filter

balled up into a tea ball strainer

dunked 2 times into what was boiling distilled water for 10 or so minutes, freshly boiling water for the redunk

added 2 grams Vitamin C powder, and 1/4 cup sugar and 2 grams grape kool aid, then refridgerated while I slept.

I got 5 good hours of sleep, woke up, talked to my bro, and my ladyfriend for a bit, made a batch of cinnamon rolls, ate 3, took a shower for an hour (I get lost in there sometimes, it's my relaxation/safe place) got out, dressed,took 4 00 caps of ginger root powder, went to my trip room, packed 3 bowls from my assortment of glassware, laid down a cigar with my punch next to it, and 3 packs of clove ciggs, I also wrote a note to myself for reassurance if I needed it, as I was solo tripping. it said "You drank an 8 gram mushroom tea, things couldn't be more beautiful" and on the other side, it said "By 7am everything will make sense"

started to drink at 1am, half done at 5 after, hands were shaking already from the comeup, started noticing a faint mushroom smell to my tea, wich just tasted like grape kool-aid, finished drinking at 10 mins after, smoked a clove, while my hands were trembling, I wasn't scared or anything, had a perfect mindset, at T+20 I was getting massive tracers, and ran off to my trip room, where I had a mp3 disk of all 3 shpongle albums, something called "three ragas", followed by my favorite 3 infected mushroom albums. Turned my tunes on, and went to go take a leak.

by T+30 I was locked in a swirling hexagon of colors, nothing but CEV's I didn't even know I had eyes to open, at T+2:30 I regained consciousness from the vortex, and got up to look around my house, which sent me into a paranoid delusion of trust with my friends, and everyone I know and talk to.
Spent the next 3 hours contemplating my life and the direction, as I sorted back out who and what it was, at t+ 5:30 I spent a half hour until T+6 feeling the most alone, and cold I've ever felt in my life, still sorting out who, where and what directions things should go.
T+7 everything was back together, very few visual distortions left.

it's now T+10 and my mind is still racing, slowly calming down, definitely not sleepy. But I'm physically exhausted, and have a nice headache from dehydration.
Needless to say, that was incredible, but I don't plan on taking a dose that large again. My previous best was 5 grams of weak cubes, which sent me to about where 3.5 of these do.
I had very little nausea, it hit me for one brief moment, and passed quickly.
and T+10:37 by the time I finished writing and editing this, lol

well, if you ever do plan on doing that dosage again, how about you tr it with a close friend?

That's a pretty good trip report. I've never experienced a trip beyond 4 g's but am looking forward to it.

Sounds like a great night. I Tripped for the first time this weekend on an 1/8 and I really enjoyed tripping by myself it was awesome. I think I want to step it up for my next trip.

I prefer to solo trip, especially on higher doses. I have a room painted all black, getting ready to spatter and paint it with flourescent paints, have it lined in blacklights, with a couch, a couple chairs, and a winnie the poo animal that's about 3 foot tall.  I also have green and orange flourescent cobwebb halloween stuff on the ceilings/corners.
It's all good and safe, and I'm usually incapacitated anyways, untill I can at least focus enough to be safe walking in my house.
I had a shitfaced drunk friend sitting at my pc untill T+2, with orders to leave me be, and exit quietly when he was done, and not to eat the rest of my damn cinnamon rolls, lmao

I don't think I could ever do an 8 gram shroom.  :grin:

I had my own trip Saturday night.  Did an 1/8th of good shrooms.  I'll be writing a trip report in the next day or two, after my fog is completely gone, and I can sort things out.  :smile:

I definatly have a lot more respect for dosages after this experience.

It was for the best in the long run, I learned a LOT from it.

Dude i think thats cool as fuck, i belive every "tripper" should have a trip-room in their house. Should completely clear it out, then paint it and decorate it anyway he feels fit. Because after all its all about safety and comfort, theres nothing like teh safety of ones home and comfort of ones personal space/room. I like your idea of painting the room with fluorecsent colors and adding blacklights.

Hey, Winnie the Pooh has some good stories to tell if you listen to him :wink:

I agree, every serious tripper should have a "safe" isolation room, decorated accordingly.

Mine just has a couch, and 2 chairs, working on a couple bean bags, and it has 1 table with a cheap 300w stereo in a corner, and another table on wheels for rolling, drinks, and ashtray.

Dude, that is bad ass how your trip room is painted all black! Right now I live in a room that's all white... wishing it was black. What a place!

I still can't believe the size of that mushroom.......  :shocked:

I found where the cap to it went, the cap weighed 4.2 grams, so that was originally a 12.2 gram mushie...Glad I didn't find where my cap went before I made the tea :wink:
