I more and more tend to use my horn in a sportive way
I even think about founding a sports club for horning with the relevant bumper stickers
I tell you, there are many assholes on the road these days

Quote:
Some could interpret the flipping them off as being caused by a negative, emotional state, but I'm not so sure about that.

You probably aren't sure about that because you are seeing yourself at that moment as being concerned about the safety of the people on the road and so of course, you see that as a positive state-caring about others safety. It is.

We are multi-dimensional beings capable of being in many states at the same time. We also get to choose, which ones we'll be aware of and in and which ones will be denying ourselves awareness access too. We ussually deny ourselves access to many of them because they are uncomfortable to realize.

So, while in a state of caring for and wanting to protect, there was also a state of fear that someone would get hurt as the result of someones negligence. That can arouse anger. Anger can arouse the lifting of the middle finger and the sound of the word moron coming from ones mouth. That is a negative state.

You were in both a positive caring place and a negative fearing, lead to anger place, at the same time. That's pretty normal FG. I wouldn't beat yourself up over it. Just learn from it like you are seeking to do with this post.

Like the parent, who yells at their kid, "What in the hell were you thinking running out into a busy street like that! What a stupid thing to do!" and then hugs them with all of the love  and care in the world and says, "I'm so glad you are okay and didn't get hurt."

You see that sort of mixed positive/negative reaction all of the time from out of people who care.

Is it possible, just to keep fully in a positive state of response when faced with threats? Sure! While caring for your safety and that of the others, you could also move into a place of caring about the guy who almost cut you all off in the first place.

You can think to yourself next time, "Geez, he almost got himself side blinded! He must be low on sleep, or in a hurry for something important or distracted mentally by some upset he had earlier today. Whatever it is, he is putting his own safety at risk as well and I hope he takes better care now having been made aware by my horn that he needs to get more alert and present while driving."

In other words, care for the safety of all the drivers, passengers, pedestrians on the road, can include the offender as well.

Thats how you would've remained fully present in just a positive state of care and changed the cause of the course and the resulting effects.

When something bad almost happens, we can choose to care about everyone involved or look for blame and punish the one who posed a threat to something we care about.

On another level, your flipping off action posed a potential threat of inciting a negative reaction in the other driver towards yourself. According to the laws of your belief system you stated, those who pose threats to the safety of others should be sought out, blamed and punished. Guess what? You did the bumper damage to your car to yourself according to your own laws. The moment you chose to insite anger in another, you became a threat to yourself. And according to you, those who pose threats to others safety (self included) must be sought out and punished. That's what the guy did to you.

(Thats an example of the what goes around comes around sort of karma.) I'll talk about the looping effect up the road.

The J man said, by the same measure we judge so too will we be. In effect, he was teaching us that we become our own judge, jury and executioner, locking ourselves to be bound within the same system we hold and bind others too. It's all self imposed.

"vengeance is mine". It was built into the system of divine law, cause and effect. We are always our own judge, jury , jailor with the key, and executioner.

It never seems that way and is easy to deny being so. You gave a perfect example of how it escapes us when you thought you were just in a positive state about caring for the safety of the drivers on the road and wanting to protect them from that crazy driver.

At the time you flipped him off, you saw him as a threat, the bad guy to be punished. With the action of inciting anger from another, you became the first cause of posing a new threat to your own self and by the laws of your beleifs about these things, got punished for it.

The thing about divine law, karma, cause and effect, is that the cause is always linked/bound to the effect.

The sun, while being blamed as the cause for the burn on your skin, is burning itself up at the same time. Justice has already been served you see.

Water while being blamed as the cause for getting your hair wet, is wetting itself at the same time. Vegeance/Justice has already been served you see.

The Ice while being blamed as the cause for freezing something, is also freezing frozen itself at the same time. Vengeance/Justice has already been served you see.

It was built into the system and that is why there is no need for us to exercise any.

You see, the cause is always bound to the effect and the effect always bound to the cause.

This is Law. It is a fair and just law as it takes care of itself within itself. It keeps checks and balances all on its own through cause and effect. It can not be broken, only used wisely to break chains with and create new ones with. Bonds can link things together in unity and love or keep them apart from one another.

When we realize ourselves as First cause, the Law maker of the rules we bind others too live by, we automatically bind ourselves to live by them as well. This is the Universal Law of the One.

Be careful of what you seek to hold others to as you to will be withheld by it as well, just like the sun that must burn itself up in order to be able to burn other things and the water that must be soaked in wetness in order to be able to soak other things in wetness and the ice that must be freezing in order to freez other things. We can't do something good or bad to someone without being it our selves first.

Had you become the cause of caring for all, and decreed at that moment that all must be cared for, you would have been cared for as well by your own decree.

I spent a few years challenging and testing this law out. When I first became aware of it, I cockily said to myself, "all laws were made to be broken". There must be a way that I can be the cause of something without being bound to the effect at the same time."

Let me tell you all that was a brutal few years of testing:lol: I had to know though before I would trust working within it's principles.

Here is what I found can be broken. The chain itself, even though we are always a link in one. At any time, we can choose a new cause and start a new chain of events.

Say one feels like everyone is always picking on them. They can stop picking on others and stop it. Become a new cause to experience a new effect. If that one says to themselves, "I never pick on other people, thats bullshit!" It may be true that they never pick on other people. In such a case, I will guarantee you that they are someone who is highly self critical." They figure, "that's okay though, because they aren't harming anyone else like those other bad people who pick on others." :nonono:

Yet , do you see how it evades them that they are just like those other bad people when they criticize their own self? To criticize the own self takes two. The one self being criticized and the other self being critical of it. The same law is at play and this is called the Law of the One.

That laws can not be broken but the chain can be. The person can become a new self cause, a new link, creating a new chain of events and start, loving, understanding, forgiving and accepting the self instead. In turn he will be bound by his new decree that all people deserve to be treated with love, forgiveness, understanding and acceptance. Any time we single out one, we include the all of the one, which includes our own selves.

This separation of body fools us. Within the Law of the One, another Universal Law to become aware of, there is always just One.

He said, "I am in you and what you do to another you do to me." The teaching was very clear and simple.

have I mastered working within the Divine Law of cause and effect and the Universal Law of the One, to the complete good will of myself which also means all others? Heck NO! I buy into the illusion still and forget. When I beat myself up enough, I remember my self as first cause and then, by working with the principles of those two laws, and change myself cause, with every new thought and action, experiential effects change almost immediately.

Fall into doubt, and you now became the cause of doubt, starting a new chain and the effects will be uncertain.
Every time we have a change of thought, a change of heart about something we start a new chain.

We are not bound to anything. We are the chain links that bind things up.

A closed mind and closed heart will create chains that loop and thats how we fall into repeat patterns and cycles.

Open the mind and heart and we now create an open break in the loop to free ourselves from it with.

I'll talk more about it all if some has questions otherwise I will stop here.

I'm glad you posted about this FG. I was starting to forget about this stuff and it can really help me out with a few patterns I want to break.

I have to jet, however, I know someone will be thinking, "Then why do good things happen to bad people and bad things happen to good people?"

I already explained how the bad can happen to the seemingly good, like the one who gets criticized by others a lot yet chooses to never criticize others, just the self in private. You don't see that part and thats the bad part of them.

In reverse, good happening to the bad. Take the guy who runs around poking at everyone and no one ever seems to retailiate back. he looks blessed graced or charmed or something, "untouchable" and we think, "it's not fair.

The Laws we are all bound too are always fair and just. That guy, just never pokes at himself in a way it hurts him. he'll do it fun though and enjoy it. Furthermore, he loves and accepts the poker within him that pokes at others and his own self. He IS working within the Law of his beleifs. He believes that pokers are lovable and acceptable and so that is his experience and why it seems good happens to the bad. Poking may be bad to you, its good to him and he is making the laws for his own life.

Same goes with the people we think are down right evil/bad and see good things happening to them. Evil is a good thing to them. Scary huh? It's within the law though. We can decide to exercise vengeance upon that person and we covered what a bad idea that is. The other thing is that, we have to remeber, this guy thiks evil is good. He'll take sadistic pleasure in his punishment. You can't punish him in the traditional sense if you tried. He'll love that too and get off on it.

Such a person has also mastered an understanding of the Law of One. he knows, you can't hurt him without hurting yourself. He understands the mirror of duality that creates the illusion of the one as being two or more. He will hold it up when you come at him to hurt him and redirect the energy right back at you. Thats why he seems seemingly untouchable.

His mastery of the law of cause and effect has him knowing that he just never has to make himself the cause of guilt to avoid experiencing anything that seems like punishment in the traditional sense. That also means, this guy has truly mastered self forgiveness and why he can laugh so easily when he inflicts pain upon others.

I'm sharing this with all of you not to teach you how to be evil, or be bad yet only experience it as a good thing for yourself.

Most all of you are good and choose to be good. I'm sharing this so you don't fall into the trap of wanting to seek vengeance upon those you deem evil or bad, lest you become it while you are not aware of how these laws work. In your sense of goodness, you will feel guilty for it soon enough and end up in a self punishment cycle.

Don't go there because you will never get that guy. It's not worth it.

Mark my words, that guy who rammed FG secretly enjoyed every minute of ramming his back in. He'll laugh off paying the ticket if he got one, paying for damage repairs, laugh inside at FGs car damage, brag about the damage to his car to his friends, feel high and mighty for going after the guy who flipped him off and thats the end of it. As far as he is concerned, he showwed FG who and who not to flip off. He doesn't feel like he was served the wrath of the almighty mingle fingure. He feels like he served the finger wielder and was just and is proud of himself.

Anyone willing to chase after a guy and ramm his back end over a hand gesture has sadistic tendencies. You can not hurt sadistic types because they derive pleasure from pain. Let it go when you feel offended or threatened.

Thats what the J man meant when he said, turn the other check. Historians found that in his time,  turning the other cheak meant, turning around to walk away.

Modern interpretation takes it to mean, when someone slaps you, give them more of you to slap. That interpretation came from a sadistic person.

Toodles!

I am really not that creative yet :rofl2:
For me is it to use the horn appropriate and harsh...and in order to these laws, more often, more appropriate and longer/more intensively (sportive) On my way to work every morning, there is an exact training ground for this
Ir's an easy and funny word in german: "Hupsport" und "Sport-Hupen", that's 'sport-horning'. I invented this morning and amused my colleges allready  I look forward for some competitions in it

And you are absolutely right about what I must include into the club's foundation laws about the creativity, too, yes

I really appreciated this post of yours. The understanding that has been realized and that you have expressed has been present, on some level, but, certainly at the time, was not fully integrated into every aspect of my experience.

It was a moment that caused some pause as it contained within it what we would consider an incident. The reality is that it is all one moment, and it unfolded in a specific manner that brought a moment's pause. Every moment is an opportunity for this, regardless of what is transpiring.

I have observed change in what had become routine, in general, stemming from last week's experience, or specifically, the manner in which I drive now, after the incident. I have never posed a considerable danger on the road, one or two moments come to mind where there might have been a close call - all stemming from an unawareness of the full nature of the actions I was engaged in, and yet I am finding myself much more considerate of my presence on the road. The last time I selfishly breached the order established for the road, even if it was done so in a manner that would ensure no damage would occur in that particular instant, I had to go before a court (not for the incident itself, which was running a red light, but for not having insurance on my vehicle ), and I sense that the fact that I took the minor damage (I knew it couldn't have been major, which is why I didn't check on it until I got home and pulled my vehicle in the garage) was due to the fact that I knew better and needed to straighten myself out on my own. Kind of a "what the fuck are you doing fucking around like that?" thing. I didn't want the fine for hitting the road, but I'll accept it if it comes my way.

I think we'll have to listen in and discover what Syd Barrett has to say on this matter - an excellent summation.

It's too bad I couldn't ninja edit my Failure to Quick Reply (FQR). Considering the circumstances of the fact that I'm still awake and why (:smirk:), its no small wonder that I FQR'd. I'm more concerned with working with my back at the moment than to copy a post, delete it, and then repost it, including the attachment.

Using an automobile to express your anger is very unwise. They are for transportation. Using them as a weapon is an irresponsible danger to the public at large.
