i dont know what to tell you, I am older then you but just get going with a good job and move out with a good freind, I need to get my shit together too, I just got off of probation with drug conceling, i need to get my own place again soon..

Well I'm going to hit the sack. Then go to sleep :-P Hopefully there's no retaliation tomorrow and I can just calmly go to my dad and talk to him, if not I think I'm really going to lose it tomorrow. I'm gonna go see if I can scrape any non-dhoop resin; I need a smoke.

Funny you should say that too, for his birthday I took him to a Kottonmouth Kings concert and on the way home we got lost in the GHETTO of philly.  You should have seen how scared he was.  Even just looking at his face I thought he was going to cry :lol:

Sad than :frown:, he young, his mom moved out,dropped out of school, hanging out with the wrong people. It sounds like to me he's heading into a life of crime. If he sees there is nothing wrong with stealing from family, whats next?It won't get any better. He really needs some help.

If he doesn't see it as doing anything wrong, he's been conditioned by you and your dad's lack of action that he can recieve a reward without risk of punishment.

So let me bust out some psychology on you, this works on dogs and the lower forms of humans, so I think this is good in your case.

First of all, set up something so you know if he's been in your room. A hair somewhere or something that you can check when you get home. If he hasn't gone in your room that day, go find him and smoke with him and thank him for not going in your room and be civil.

On days he does go into your room, don't talk to him that whole night or until the next day when you come home, assuming he hadn't gone back in your room. In the meantime I suggest you hide most valuables as this'll probably take a little while before it works.

Since you won't punish him, reward him for the desired behavior, ignore him for the bad behavior.

:lol: Thanks for the responses.  I'm a little calmer about everything now but I'm preparing the talk with my dad later.  You're all correct about the life of crime thing.  To him it's all about how much he can get away with rather than what's right and wrong.  It's hard to deal with when the person you just shared you weed with breaks in anyway and takes it when you're not there...or even out of the room like in the shower or something.

I went to Sears Hardware today on my lunch break and talked with one of the guys there. He looked to be about 27, 28. I told him I needed something to keep my little brother out of my room. He suggested this dinky little chain lock and I'm like, "No, that's not going to work..."

"How old is he?"

"Sixteen"

"Oh, haha I thought you meant maybe six. What...is he gettin' into your stash?"

"Hahaha yeah, actually..."

"Yeah, I know where you're coming from...my little bro always broke in and stole my mushrooms!"

So we talked for a little while and gave me a cheap solution, pretty much two bolts with loops on the end and a Brinks keyed-padlock. It's going to work great, I just need a big enough drill bit.
