I'm waiting in line to sell one on ebay. Check the prices. It's the only reason it's worth the wait for me. If I just wanted it to play games I definitely wouldn't be camped out in the cold.

Ah... the smell of capitalism and opportunity.

Take the fucking sheep for all they're worth my friend.

Well, I hope you do get one, because it looks like their shipment of 400,000 PS3's to the US has been cut down to 150,000 to 200,000.

People who were told they would get one when they reserved one at gamespot/EB are being called right now and being told they will have to wait for one.

My girldfriend and I want to buy an XBox 360 or maybe a Wii. No waiting in line though, that would suck.

im thinking about pitching a tent just to do the common ebay thing.. although im sure thats everyones fucking idea.. at some point people are going to get stuck or end up taking a loss on them.. i know demand is high but seems like everyone that is camping out, is camping out just to sell them.

I don't know man... I just checked the prices on e-bay and there were fucking preorders going for upwards of $800. Seems like a solid investment to me, if you can manage to move the system within a week or two of it coming out, or at least before the second major shipment hits the states.

The story goes, or the way that I was told
There was a king that always felt too high and then he fell too low
And so he called all the wise men to the hall
And begged them for a gift to end the rises and the falls
But here’s the thing, they came back with a ring
It was simple and was plainly unbefitting of a king
Engraved in black, it had no front or back
But there were words around the band that said
Just know: This Too Shall Pass

Alright.. to all you who had comments to make about addiction...
FUCK YOU... cause you haven't been there...

I have... And I'm a good friend to help lead him out of it... If he would rather have a PS3 than heroin or a fentanyl patch.. then I'm happy for him...

But yeah... the whole waiting in line thing sucks... I did it for an hour earlier while he went to eat dinner and man... that hour was like the longest of my life...

I dunno... to each his own...

The way I see it... as long as he has something to get up in the morning for...

It's better than throwing a life in the garbage can.

So yeah...

He's guaranteed his PS3 and all... and i'm happy for him..

So eat shit with your Holier than thou attitudes.

Futile. With the creation of the internet, waiting in line for concert tickets is pointless. I got Tool tickets during their small venue tour on the internet and they sold out in under 2 minutes. This is unheard of if you have to deal with a CSR at ticketmaster or any other broker.

If your friend is on methadone, it sounds like he has bigger problems in life than getting a PS3 the day it comes out.

Nothing holier than thou about it dude... Chill.

Heroin, PS3, slot machines, WOW, wacking off... addiction is addiction. You and his father's support of this insanity serves to support his ADDICTIVE personality.

Be happy when he wakes up to LIFE, not the latest fad. :peace:
