A slime, a cyanocybe? What are they?

OK it has only rained once here in Berkeley but there are still sights to see this early in the season. Any help on my two finds from this weekend?

-- First one: Somekind of slime. The nodes are about .25" in size and are orange-pink.

-- Second: These grow outside my office every year and after three years of obersving I have to know what they are. I hate to think they are just White Dunce Caps. They are about 2" in height, white stalk, fragile and hollow. The young'ins are brown maturing to beige. Have dark brown spores. They grow single in paris or trios, no clusters.l

The slime mold is Lycogalla epidendrum, which is pretty common.

The other looks to be a Conocybe, probably close to C. lactea, the dull and boring thing you probably hoped they weren't.

Happy mushrooming!
