SUCCESS! but why no pins?

I birthed a cake into a poorman's terrarrium 4 days ago, and 2 days ago I noticed a small white strande with a red/orange ball on the end. Over the two day period it doubled in size. It is about and inch long, the stem is the thickness of a pencil lead. It really is a baby. But there are no other pins anywhere on the cake. I think it is premature. Has anyone experienced this type of pre-1st flush shroom? Oh yeah, the strain is Hawaiian (sporeworks). Any knowledge would be welcome. Sorry I am ppor. No pics.

THis morning my cat woke up and there was a 1/4 inch little choad of a shroom on the other side. My cat could barely see the dot on the end. Man my cat is so stoked. He also tried dunking another cake and will proceed to dunk more if the first is good. He has a terrarrium(74-76 degrees, 90-100 percent humidity,air bubbler w/h2o+h2o2, and a 100 watt fishtank heater, as well as a drip shield) but I think he is going to use poorman's style on most cakes, and leave the terrarium for casings. My cat has not yet been successful with casings. Right now I am fanning and misting 3 to 4 times a day.
