Dried Shrooms Through Mail? Legit?

I have a friend who has ordered and received dried psilocybian mushrooms through and online vendor. He has even tripped off of them. This sounds a little odd to me, so i was wondering if anyone could show me the light and tell me if this is legit or not. Thanx!

how about you post about commiting felonies by using the mail system for mailing illicit materials on a public bulletin board?

parts of Europe do this.
