Yeah cards Yeah cards. And thats a Winner! A world series victory for the cardinals! I* must say it was well desrved too. But! Those errors by the Tigers pitchin staff were the deciding factor IMO. That was one of the most (choke)pitiful efforts I've ever seen. Wth happened to the tigers? I really expected them to kick st louis ass. Oh well , I'm still happy1 peace

I think inexperience, the intensity of Busch Stadium, the self-fulfilling prophesy of more errors, the 6 days rest, the rain, and maybe a psychological jinx from the Kenny Rogers controversy brough them down. And of course, the Cardinals played pretty decent ball. Eckstein was clutch and the starting pitching dominated.

No doubt about the cards startin pitchin or the relievers and wainwright,... well he was just smokin! Eckstein was definately the man, and deserved the MVP. He might be a goofy little f'r with a flat brim and big ears, but Dayum that boy can play some baseball! Grrrr.. yeah I almost forgot about that pine tar usin slug. I'm sorry but if I was Larussa, I'd've been out on the feild in the first inning throwin a freakin fit and screamin like a banshee. Although Rogers is one hell of a pitcher andthrew almost perfect, he should've known better and didnt need to use a substance. so why did he? peace
