you heard it folks. Merriman will be suspended for four games for violating the NFL's steroids policy.

I love how all these morons blame it on the supplements they take.

I'm sorry, but if I was getting paid 20 million dollars to play a game, and I knew that taking certain substances would cause me to forfeit a large amount of said 20 million, I would be DAMNED careful what I put in my body. The NFL has a program that you can give them a sample of *ANY* medicine, supplement, or vitamin you want to take, and they'll test it and let you know if there is anything fishy in there.

For these athletes to claim ignorance and stupidity on someone else's part is just asinine. (And yes, thats exactly what Merriman is claiming, that his supplements did it)

What bullshit. Just fess up that you got caught cheating and take it like a man.

yeah i really dont know the specifics of the story. im not making any judgements until all the facts come out.

I know if I was getting paid 20 million to play a game I would do everything I possibly could to get that edge and produce as many wins as i could for that 20 million. Making that kind of money, I would make damn sure I would keep on making it.

no hes not.. he played yesterday and got 3 sacks..

hes appealing the nfl's suspension.. so he will atleast get to play 1 more week.. then if he loses, will be done for 4 games.. if not he'll continue to play.

I meant that when he starts serving his suspension, he'll be suspended w/out pay.

I know he played on Sunday.

He just dropped his appeal today. That sounds like a guilty plea to me...
