just bought lights..need ballast?

I just bought a 400w HPS, and 400x MH light...
I take it i need one of these..??

yep
did you buy them new?
once the bulbs get old they lose thier mojo so if you got them used I would hope they were dirt cheap.
they also build the units that will power up both bulbs at once I think.
