Homemade "Myco Bags"

So I have alot of mycelium growing on my logs outside, but of course no p.c.s will grow off logs. So I want to scrape all the mycelium into a bag. With just brown rice flour inside. Any suggestions, (bags, water ratio)??

unless you'll be using some kind of peroxide tek you're wasting your time. also mycelium won't grow on pure flour.

So what are your suggestions for this useless Mycelium? I mean, what would you do, your tek? could you explain the peroxide tek, with a little more detail?

Yes rice, not flour, maybe I should use cooked rice??, but make it not sticky at all if that is possible. Use sand/rocks as a air maker.

You mean you used whole rice? or you used rice flour? At first I thought you guys mistake me saying flour, like flour.

Why waste your time. If the mycellium is growing on the logs that means it WILL grow off logs. Just grow the logs.

That was a low insult, this is definitely on the verge of advance cultivation theory. I mean using a continous supply of mycelium to innoculte homemade "myco bags" it's genius. Also the fact that I spawned the mycelium off of caterpillar shit, plus lizard shit. Plus the fact that there is no bacteria in sight!

the mycelium will die off. i had solution i thought was contaminated one time, squirted it outside in dirt and spawned mycelium in dirt.

self declared "genius" from what amounts to a newbie? And how is the a continuous supply? and where is the relivance of "homemade 'myco bags'"? "Plus the fact that there is no bacteria in sight!" do you deserve the benifit of a doubt and the possession of an electron microscope? I don't think so. --- this is not advanced.

Why don't you call a moderater then!!! Sorry to be amountsing to a newbie to you. I thought that the mushroom cultivation is for first time growers asking questions, and that this forum is for all other cultivation, I guess we need an advanced advanced cultivation forum, so you don't have to waste your time reading this. Although you still have'nt offered one suggestion being so advanced! It's a continous supply if I keep on spraying down the logs with a lizard/caterpillar shit water. Plus I can just change the logs one at at time, (in case they logs get used up) Homemade "myco bags" is the only concept here that is relative to my question, so anyone with experience in the subject, might know about this. Unless this field is called something else?? Plus the fact that there is no bacteria in sight! Like I said in sight, I know that there is bacteria in there, because that's what's eating up my compost. The thing is that, no bacteria collected on the logs, (visible bacteria (harmful bacteria)) Dude electron microscopes are for smart scientists like yourself. So give me a little insight into what you learned from one. Finally, I will not cry or protest if a moderator moves this to the mushrooms cultivation forum. You being the expert moderator know where this post should stay.

hey I don't know really but its sounds to me you just need to put a casing layer on them logs. Just sprinkle on some peat moss, not a whole lot. That will give the top layer texture conducive to pinning. of course the other parameters (temp/humidity/etc) need to be in line, but I assume you wouldn't try this outdoors if they weren't.
