Help with Making Cake Tea for 4/20!
    #612420 - 04/19/02 12:19 AM (15 years, 3 months ago)

Hi. As I'm sure everyone knows our favourite holiday is among us. 4/20. And my buddy doesn't have any shrooms for our favourite holiday.

So... He does have some almost fully colonized 1/2 pint jars. And what he and I were wondering was if it is possible to cut the colonized cake into chunks and then boil them for about 10 minutes and then letting them sit for another 5-10 minutes, and then strain and drink the resulting tea. Do you think that we could get a mild experience? How many cakes per person?

I read a file about it already where a guy cut an exhausted cake into cubes and boiled it up. He said that there was PLENTY for more than one person in the cake he had. The cake's we're planning on using are brand new.
Any help would be great. Thanks alot.

-Raven

You could try the cranberry juice extraction but from what I've read you need to have cakes that have been colonised for at least a month.

Well I guess if that's the way it is, that's the way it is... But one more question. Does anyone know if you can make substrate tea out of spent cakes, like in the article I mentioned above. Does it actually work? Any help would be great. Thanks alot.

yea after they are exhuasted you can. U take the crubled up pieces of cake and biol them in water for 15 minutes then strain the water and reboil the left overs for another 15 then drink the water.

or the cranberry method works . .u crumble up cakes and put em in like ocean cranberry coctail juice and shake leave em in there for a good few days and shake periodically then strain the peices of cake out of cranberry juice then what i would do to make sure i got everything out it take the remaining peices of cake and boil them in water for 15 minutes and mix all the juice n water n drink.

u wont trip as hard as u do on shrooms but its better than letting it go to waste!
