ok, a friend has alot of extra jars that are fully ready to case, and i was wondering if i could take a pint jar thats fully colonized dillute it in water to disolve the mycealum (sp) and than just filter out the substrate, drink the water and have it be active ? I have seen reports of people acheiving results but i have heard of ppl acheiving no results. I know ppl will say just fruit the jar but i kinda want to experiment there are left overs

what do you mean, leftovers? You mean there is no room left in the terranium? In that case, grow invitro (leave the cake IN the jar, and they;ll grow...)
I don't see why you would waste a perfectly good cake that could bring you many trips, for just one small trip that is not even guaranteed?

dude, just case them. just think if you were a jar of fungus ready to fruit and someone came along and drank you!!

no, not with water. putting them in water (for 24 hours) would convice the mycelium that it just rained and it would pin alot. just grow them hippie style.

Whuddo you mean you got plenty of Jars??
-U-can never have too many jars..
Why would you start this shroom growing project and then half-way through your opening them up and Drinking only half-way made mushroom plants. Isn't the point of growing mushrooms to grow mushrooms? -or is it the other way around.. this particular individual is so much starveing for a mushrooming experience that he would risk life and limb for even the smallest cup of procured liquid mycelium juice
Theres just one rule that applys to this "lazy_daze" character
RULE #1.) Never, ever, run out of shrooms.
Have a-many shroomy daze and a-many shroomy nights.

GG you know it im starved for some sort of experience tonite and all the cakes that are going still have a little while till i can reap the harvest but this is just on old jar that i want to experiment with,
so what i am hearing is, i *might* get a buzz but just case it, like i said i have plenty cased i just wanna experiment
just not sure on the best way to try it

Well, if you're REALLY gonna do this, (I think you're nuts) I've heard that putting them in some JUICE for a while and then drinking it will give you the desired buzz...

yea im not going to actually eat them , but i wanted to try to make a tea, or i read about cranberry juice mixed into it than strained to produce the desired effects
Anybody with any experience with this ?

Anyways, someone replied that YES, that does work.
