it's probably a MS fault then :smirk:

that list is probably generated from files no other programs are using?
try the settings in the program that opens the file, maybe disassociate the mp3 from the program and see what happens (then switch back of course)

then it automatically opens the mp3 in the program I selected for it.

I want firefox to ask me if I want to open or download a file :mad:

well if you disassociate the file type with that program how would it open the mp3?
maybe then it would ask you what to do...

I ment I associated the file type with another program and it automatically opens, or tries to open, the file in that program.

Firefox won't let me choose to download or open anymore, it automatically just opens the file regardless what program is selected for it.
