You and I wouldn't get a citation, particularly for a 1/5 pound of what I would bet were dried. That's a good size sack of shrooms.
And a pound and a half of bud and only a citation? Unreal.

Well I'm sure they knew old willie wasnt distributing it. Hell all of em would probly go through that 1 1/2 pound within a week.

I had my share of thousand of dollars worth of classes and fines, I am glad i am off papers, it was so nice to smoke bud again, I wish I had more but I got to wait until wednesday so I can get paid.

He got busted in breax bridge, LA which is like 30 min from where I live but i had heard he had 1.5lbs of shrooms. I guess we see where some of old willies inspiration comes from.
And actually louisiana has some pretty strict drug laws, we were one of the first states to make salvia illegal as well as lot of other herbs that are legal in just about every other state. Kathleen Blanco is a dumb bitch.

Country star Nelson on drugs charge
Country music star Willie Nelson and four others have been charged with possessing narcotic mushrooms and marijuana after his tour bus was stopped on a Louisiana highway.
The citations were issued after a commercial vehicle inspection of the bus, state police said in a news release.
"When the door was opened and the trooper began to speak to the driver, he smelled the strong odour of marijuana," the release said.
A search of the bus produced one and a half pounds (680 grams) of marijuana and slightly more than three ounces (85 grams) of illegal mushrooms.
There were enough drugs to merit a charge of distribution if they had been found in one person's possession, state police spokesman Willie Williams said. But all five claimed the drugs as their own and the drugs were not packaged for resale, so each was charged with misdemeanours

In Louisiana you can possess up to 60 pounds of pot without it being a felony. The penalty is $500 and/or 6 months in jail. Second offense is a felony. Pot is Louisiana's 6th largest cash crop but #1 price per pound. It is taxed in Louisiana at $3.50/gram.
