I'm going to carry on the family tradition, and finally attend a picnic. My mom went to the first, and her and the rest of the family have been to most of the others. My number one priority is gona be to see the Dead. #2 Score alittle acid, or mabey alot. I'm kinda nervous about it though I don't wana get ripped or busted. I know buddas and fractals are good sofar so i'm gonna try to stick to those. Would it be cool to ask to sample a hit before buying more, or would that seem suspicious? Has anybody had any trouble with cops posing as dealers? getting bunk shit? any help would be greatly apreciated

It was the FUCKIN BOMB! I my bro, and his girl drove there on friday. It was pouring down rain the whole drive so i was worried, but as soon as we got there it stopped. We didn't find my mum so we just chilled and enjoyed the music. some country stuff, Willie went on with all the new talent. It was funny cuz the mix of people were about half deadheads half country folk. you could just see some of em eyeballin the dirty hippies. tryin not to get to close. Finally the Dead came out, with Joan Osbourn taking the lead. She's not Jerry, but she was a pretty strong vocally. At first they played one of there new songs, and truckin. It sounded kinda weak and labored so i was worried, but after that they went off, and did one of the best sets i'v ever heard. In the middle of the show i was walkin around and i barely noticed a dude dancin through the croud singin Lsd,Lsd,Lsd. That got a few peoples attention and we sat down next to him. First guy bought 20 for $100. I was next. He busted out a little vial full of tiny brown dots. I asked if they were brown microdots. he said they were "fluf" microdots. I had heard about them here and told him i Knew they were weak. I tried to get 2 for $5, but he said fuck that you don't half to have any and was about to leave so i was like alright 1 for five. I was right it was Super weak but i was still happy. The dead played on into the night. Ending with a killer 15 minute drum solo. We decided to drive to the hotel before the show ended to beat the traffic. We got there and crashed. The next day we woke up and it was pouring down rain again, but by the time we got there it had stopped, and stayed cloudy all day with a few light mists. The gates opened 20 minutes late and as soon as we got inside a gospel band started playin, and the music didn't stop all day. We layed our blanket down right in the center of the stadium next to the control tent. I found out i could get into the camp grounds, so i ventured out that way. Hippy buses and vans were everywher and the grounds were filled to the brim with smilling campers, playing drums and hanging out in packs. I found "the best camp ever" and struck up a conversation. These guys were retired D.j.s. I hit it off with one of them, lets call him Dude. dude and his friend were about to go off to the stage so i asked if mabey he knew wher to get some acid. "i can't get a whole lot" I was like man i would be happy with just 1 good hit. "sit down" a few minutes later he placed alittle purple peace of paper in my hand. I was happy as a clam. I promptly ate it, and we went off infront of the stage and jammed out. I bought him a cheesburger, but it turned out that he was a vegitarian. about an hour later in the middle of Ray Willy hubbards set i began to feel it. I went off to chill with my family as i came up. I convinced my bro and his girfriend to come play on the giant inflatable kiddie obsticle course they had set up, it was amusing. I decided i needed to be near the music so i found my way to the front of the stage. This was a few hours after eating it, i was tripping HARD. I set down and closed my eyes and let the music wash over me, and the sound of the crowd. It was AWSOME. afterwords, i ventured out into the campgrounds again to find a spot to rest. I found a secluded little revine hidden by the trees, that looked perfect. Some other dudes had found it before me, and were smokin some bowls. They were alittle freaked out, but i let it be known that i was a friend and was just lookin for a place to relax. We talked for a while enjoying the break from the crowd. We layed down in the dirt under the trees and just kinda dug the nature. I looked up through the trees and was in awe of the way the light came through the cracks in the leaves creating a sparkling sea of light, like you would see on the ocean. When i got up, one of them was gone. I made my way back to the venue as i was beginning to come down. I spent the rest of the night chillin on the blanket with my mom. Just diggin the music and the good vibes off of all the deadheads.
It was a Jolly good time, I and the other 22,000 people were not disapointed. I am for sure going to next years picnic
