Could I just use a lighter to sterilize the needle on a syringe?

I always just used alcohol and a paper towl. Never had a contam prob.

fuck the lighter idea, take rubbing alchohol and a shot glass, turn the shot glass upside down and put a lil rubbing alchohol on it.. then light it with a match, and you have a clean burning alchohol flame. sterilize it with that.

word. and again, careful with alch. and fire, i thought i was being careful and came the closest i ever have to burning down my house. left some sitting in an old container i used for casing, an hour or two later i came in to sterilize a fork i was using to deep scratch with alch. and ended up setting the whole thing ablaze.
