I shed a tear for Steve Irwin

Hey all
I heard about the death of Steve Irwin pretty much as soon as it happened on the radio at work. Got home later that night and started seeing it on TV. It wasn't until about then that I realised this was a huge event for Australia.
Watching footage, reading the paper and hearing about it on the TV and radio, I can't help but shed a tear for him and his family. It is very saddening. I never liked him when he was around, but since he's been gone you come to realise what an infectious person he really was. Passionate, pure anda fuckin awesome bloke... it put a lump in my throat for sure.

I've been to Australia zoo and that place is unreal, I wish his family luck.

RIP steve - your smile will be missed.

Steve was an overthetop kind of guy. So, it was easy for cooler-than-thou types to say, oh now there's a fool who "had it coming". The truth is he was the type of person we need nore of on this earth. If I am ever half the man he was I will feel my life was woth living. My heart goes out to his family and all who are wise enough to realize what a loss his life truly is.
