Whole Grain Recipe

I made quart jars of rye using a 1.5 cups of rye berries and 200 ml water per jar. The volume of the mix was good, I mean, the jars are pretty full, but easy to shake. This seems like an ok recipe, but I've never made whole grain jars before this and have nothing to compare it to. It took forever for the spores to germinate and the mycelial growth rate is a little disappointing. Not very rhizomorphic either. The strain I'm using is B+. Do my measurements sound good, or would different amounts work better? What amounts do you use for whole grain?
