yeah. i am a pretty skinny person, 5'8/115lbs. i have tried bulking up, but it just never does me any good. i have been the same weight and height since 9th grade and i am now in early college years. i look like a fucking junky... skinny, veiny arms.

my arms look really veiny too....... something about vegetarianism + not eating as much junk as i used to has really cut them slender.

well it's just the amounts you're eating then, eat a shitload of carbs. it's impossible for you not to be able to gain weight, just figure out how many calories youre probably using up and eat a lot more. or, change your lifestyle to slow down your metabolism- eat as few times a day as possible w/ a lot of food each time and maybe drink alcohol regularly but not to the point where it fucks your liver

I used to think that I ate like a horse but I was sadly mistaken.

Add up all the shit you eat every day, and in a week. Find the average and add a couple hundred extra calories. Seriously, this could be a packet or two of oatmeal a day. Say you gain a pound of lean mass a week, damn son that's progress! Like morrowind say, carb up budddayyy!!!

I eat this shit called steel cut oats. It's like oatmeal, but before it's pressed and rolled. Cheap as shit, nutritious as hell (fiber, vitamins and minerals, small amount of protein) VERRRRYYYY calorie dense and has slow burning carbohydrates as opposed to nasty high glycemic, fast burning carbs.

Go to a health food store and pick some up. Make a huuuuuuuge pot of it cause it takes between 30min to an hour to cook, add some cinnanon or whatever the fuck you like, and mow on this. You can even bust it up in a coffee grinder and put it in a protein shake or just shoot it and chase with water if you're serious. A third quarter cup (50g) has like 200 calories, 4g fiber, 4g protein and 33g of carbs. Good shit if you ask me, dude.

Your arms are veiny likely because of your low bodyfat. I think it's actually good looking as well, but then again I'm a masochistic kind of dude who's gotten pretty obsessed about bodybuilding in the last year. But it's not the end of the world. Slap on a little bit of meat and it should get toned down. But remember that a lot of it has to do with genetics too.... maybe they'll be there even if you're large.

The reason your bulk didn't work is because you don't have the muscle mass to support your hunger. You need to start working out as often as is comfortable and make it into a lifestyle.

I simply do pushups and pullups and sprints and swims. I also enjoy being in a squat position just for fun and rest.

i would workout, but i stress-fractured my lower right back almost 4-5 years ago, did physical therapy, and now it's still not 100%. when i workout my back is very sore the next few days. sucks...
