the truth is that politics is an illusion, becuase the individual is powerless on everything but the local level.

then the truth simply becomes
"be the change you want to see in the world"

what does it matter if something is happening somewhere in the world, fuck if you can stop it huh? as long as you know who you are and what you are opposed (such as being opposed to police states) then you can spread that personality through the community, but it doesn't require watching the news at all or engaging in this silly global politics, which is just simply global fear manipulatoin and mass desensitization.

*note local activism is good, that's how things get done, i.e. Denver + marijuana.
