I think this poll is flawed, because as you pointed out "true love" is a very subjective thing...and may not even exist at all! Money, on the other hand, is cold hard and real.


It should have been "would you rather have money...or love" with no talk of "true" love.

Say you could have more money than you could EVER use...but that you would never love anyone or have anyone love you (again, no talk of "true" love...just LOVE!). Or would you rather have lots of people love you, and give lots of love in return...but have no money at all?

Oh, I've done the whole "true love" thing and that was awesome, at least for a few years. Of course even that didn't last and now we fight all the time...
On the other hand, I've never been a multi-millionare. I'm sure I would have a blast and money will always love me back... :smile:

No amount of money and nothing money could buy would ever make me as happy as i've felt being in love. and if i could have that love for the rest of my life NOTHING could replace that. Money comes and goes, it never stays, you can lose that money in heart beat. love is lasting.

with that 5mil. i could buy all the happiness that matters to me..

a quite place in the woods,a big garage,a well equipped wood and metal shop.

a cheap bike to build,a cheap car to build into super car-like performance,all the old Detroit iron i have/haven't owned and wanted to own and have the means to build them the way I wouls want to...

no grand spending spree,no lavished life.just a comfortable,quiet existence away from the world to toil with what matters to me..

I've had all the love i need,and could care less if it ever came again.

I would pick true love in a heartbeat. Money is nice, but it isn't everything. Having somebody that is there, will always be there, and that cares about you is worth more than anything.
