steaming question

after i steam my jars, is it important to never take them out of the pot to cool them? i'm gonna have a little problem if you must keep them in there, cause i'm using my mother's pots to steam them in while she's gone and i cant be keeping her pots hidden in my closet cause she will probably be looking for them. i dont see how it would hurt them to just take them out of the pot right away after steaming and cool them on a pan under my bed. anyone have any advice on this?

I let my jars cool down for an hour in my pressure cooker.....before i take them out.

You should be able to take them out of the pot of water in an hour.

That give you enough time ?

The bigger problem is that you even grow in your parents house. Why don't you wait until you grow up and have your own place so as not to put your parents in the middle of something that has the possibility of costing them at the very least a bunch of money, and at the worst possibly costing them their house?

No wucking forries, mate. After they're steamed you can stick them anywhere to cool down. No need to leave them in the pot!!!  :wink:
