steaming question

today my friend was steaming some pf jars when he noticed he had to be somewhere in a few hours, he didnt have time to let them get cool to the touch before he removed them. is this ok?

your fine as long as you got your full time in steaming.. i get jars out with oven mitts all the time

he waited for them to completely cool before innoc'ing though, right? just removing the jars is no problem- but dont quick cool them.
