narc question
    #5935203 -

what would happen if someone sold a narc a baggie of baking soda? i understand he would go jail if they did a buy bust on him, but once they test it and it turns up as baking soda, are the charges dropped?

would they be able to search your house? if you called someone and got all your drugs out, they could't do much else, could they? maybe tax evasion charges or something?

i think it would be funny as hell once you got out of jail.

ATTEMPT to distribute?

I'd imagine that is plenty for probable cause to search without a warrant, otherwise, I'd imagine a judge wouldn't hesitate to grant a warrant.

I don't know the truth of it, but I've heard people say that US law allows for people to to prosecuted for selling something which they claim to be an illegal drug.

So you might just wind up selling them a bag of Schedule II baking soda.

imitation CDS holds the same charge as a real CDS. Selling a bag of sugar as coke will hold roughly the same charge as selling a real bag of coke.

That is true but you can beat the charge with at least a decent lawyer. A good friend of mine sold 1000 OTC pills as xtc to a narc and beat the charge in court. The pills were stolen from a cvs not long before but they never thought to look into how he got so many otc pills lol. He was really lucky he didn't like that guy which is why he was selling him fake xtc. The guy was murdered a few months later, weird coincidence ehh?

Well the guy who turned narc had it coming to him, there was a reason he was being sold fake xtc in the first place. Death for a narc is also fine punishment in my eyes.

However he was a piece of shit. Sketchiest guy I ever knew. He ripped one my best friends off for $200 of bud when i gave him his number to reup. He also once sold me a 20 bag of baking soda but i got my money back later after some drama. But, he ended up getting addicted to heroin and got hep C along with 20 other people i knew which was around when i cut off all contact with him. Karma and all that jazz i guess.

I learned this in DARE in third grade, its amazing that so few people know about it. The cop came in the class room with a board with all kinds of narcotic look-a-likes hot-glued to it. After we all took a look at it he informed us that it is even illegal to sell or, I'm not sure, posses with the intent to sell look-a-likes.

I have friends that got into trouble for this. You get a delivery of an uncontrolled substance, a class U felony in wisconsin anyways.
