doctor appointment in the morning

Already posted in other drugs forum but no body in there to help and need to know soon cause I gotta get up at 9

Any experience with xanax xr think its new its extended release. Would it not be recreational? Not sure but I think the extended release in tabs are just the outside coating am I right? I'm going to the doc tomorrow and I'm sure it would be easier to get cuz he keeps going on about you have to take xanax/Valium/ativan 3 times daily

well, i don't know alot about alot of pills, but i know that you would doubtfully take Valium or ativan 3 times daily. Its a sleeping pill/sedative type pill. When i had to take ativan it was only at night time or when i was reallly anxious..

I think the extended release xanax doesn't have the extended release in a coating, I would not take it if you have to be up early, is it trapeziodal or something?

thank you for posting finally. But know Ive been in rehab twice so I know a lot about these kind of drugs it is common to take it 3 times daily. I have anger management problems probably from the juice and I regret using it.

From what I understand its the same stuff just with extended release.

1. what shape is the pill.

2. I'm pretty sure the tablet itself is extended release, unlike oxy's that you can just crus up and destroy the ER coating to.

If you crush it up it should work normally.

One webpage says

• Do not crush, chew, or break the extended-release Xanax XR. Swallow them whole. These tablets are specially formulated to release the medication slowly in the body.

Which I think would mean, if you crush it, it won't be time release.

hmm, that's what that should mean.  I had a few of them, and they looked really uniform throughout.  I don't remember a coating.  Guess I don't remember very well. :justdontknow:

No, if you crush them, you end up with a pile of time-released shit. Xanax XR is about 15x larger than a generic 2mg.

Xanax XR is a bad version of Klonopin.

If someone has a disorder where they need benzodiazepines, they should go for the longest half-life (clonazepam). Those with say, panic disorder, should go for alprazolam which will dissolve in your mouth and hit you within 5-15 minutes.

Or, a combination of both, for those shitty situations. I really wouldn't recommend asking a doctor for a 50/50 split of both types, though. Unless you've been seeing them for awhile or they have half a brain and have read your medical history.

Dude thats what people say with cigs, opiates, and everything else. Addiction is the loss of self control. You allow yourself to get addicted. Yes they are physically and mentally addicted. But thats a choice no matter what anyone says. If I wanted to I could smoke opium everyday but I don't. Plus they want to put me on this(restoril) for my anger/sleep so they want me to take it everyday. The amount prescribed fucks u up thats all I'm doing and maybe helping a few friends out who really need it. Thanks for the concern tho
