brf agar
    #5756651 - 06/16/06 09:24 AM (17 years, 7 months ago)

just wanted to say this works great almost all the surface is covered in 3 weeks.

basic 2.5 grams of brf and 8ml of water, pc for 15 minutes then use like normal agar. i used 5grams because i was worried about it drying out, but if you choose 2.5 go ahead.

i'm going to clone a fat mushroom that is nearly mature to some brf agar then in three weeks, transfer some myc to some popcorn, let it colonise, inject some water(making a myc syringe here) then innoc some brf cakes, yum yum

this tek does work!!! good for noobies to start out if they don't want to buy agar.

i don't know if(?) myc grows slower on brf agar(because of the lack of nutes that normal agar has+added) but mine has covered the surface of the brf agar in about 3 weeks give or take couple days. i will use this to innoc 2 popcorn jars and maybe a g2g.

this is an easy way to clone your biggest mushroom.

I tried that and threw it in my incubator at 80 degrees and it dried out. Do you let your's colonize at room temp?

you can use this to create myc syringes as well.

just cut a piece of the colonised agar and drop it into a jar(1/5 full) of popcorn/rye/wbs let it colonise, shake it, inject water, suck up water and there you have a myc syringe, which will grow into the fruits u cloned
