The best "Assault" rifle in the world...

Same as the pistol thread... post a pic, tell us why I'll start off.

The M1 SOCOM II. Picatinny rails, very accurate, M1 quality, easily "tac'ed" out to make it look like an EBR. I sent mine to fulton armory and they damn near rebuilt the entire thing, reported the gas chambers, redid lots of shit, floated the barrel. VERY accurate, I'm talking 700-1200 yards.

The FN-FAL and it's variants are hard-core battle rifles. Long barrels, great caliber (can you tell I love the .308Winchester yet?), heavy duty, hi-cap magazines.

yea yea, ar-15, poodle shooter, too many problems, caliber sucks, .223 Remington isn't a magic bullet like it's proponents claim. I suppose if I were doing VERY CQB, I'd take an AR to the battle.

Ahh, a nice AR-15 variant in a .308 Winchester. Now thats something I can live with. I own three of these

The HK G3. If I lived in a free country, I'd own a few of these.
Thats about it for me for now. Post away

I don't know a whole lot about assult rifles really. i only shoot postols, rifles, shotgues and that stuff, I would mind packing any of the following.
Might have to pack them all up on a bullet proof cart, and haul them along with me.

Might want one with a silencer and scope, so I can snipe bitches in stealth.

I want that big one! Bad.

Saggy, misshapen, pendulum effect, nipples not the right shade or size. etc.
*addendum*
The crack of her pussy doesn't look that nice either. I like a nice ass, high and tight, rahter than one that droops down like that.

I really don't know anything about guns, but I prefer a bullpup design

ooooh, i like this thread. i dont have any rifles, but here's my shotgun

i do want to get a rifle though, something semi-auto and very accurate but affordable. i want a scope and a laser too. i was thinking about an AR-15 but thats only because its a common name. what would you recommend for shooting through windshields of cars pulling in my driveway?

Automat Kalashnikov 1947 "AK-47"

I'm not a gun owner, because I don't believe LSD and ACP are a good mix. If I was one, however, my "assault rifle" (cough) of choice would be the classic AK47, the universal medium-range (para)military weapon of choice.
It's rugged, well-proven, accurate and it has a distinctive look I like. Word has it you can hit a garbage bin at 300 meters and that's basically all you would want in this kind of category, methinks. I'd shoot it semi-auto and take advantage of the big magazine capacity. For a fun shoot I'd like the idea to be able to rapidly shoot off a few dozen rounds without having to do all sorts of stuff in between.
I'm not a shooter (well, I blow-dart but its not the same ) but if I were invited to a range and offered some picks from the armory I'd likely take the "nostalgic" combo of the AK47 rifle and the M1911 pistol. Someone sophisticated would go for the so-and-so AR hybrid with titanium barrel and a modified Glock 17 with a laserdot, but a simpleton like me would have more fun in taking these two classics to a range than state-of-the-art stuff.

strange, mine's good for a 1/2 inch grouping at 800yds with a 24 inch barrel, the M1 is a great rifle but the carbine barrel reduces accuracy, it shoots 1/4 MOA
