How do you say "get high " in spanish. * 1

I'm designing a t-shirt for someoneand I need to know how a Spanish speaking person would say "get high".

Babelfish gave me "consiga empedrado" for "get stoned" and "consiga alto" for "get high". I'm not sure if either of these would be the proper slang for it though.

all i know is that Malta= weed in spanish.. i picked that up from working at mcdonalds.. lol

In chile "estoy volado" means im high.

they pronounce it as mal-ta ... i know im right on this one, i worked with like 20 of them.. (yes mexicans).. they def put an "L" in it..

Where is he from? Every spanish country has a different word for it. I cant think of a Universal term.I can think of one for smoke herb though "Fumar Yerba" "vamos a fumar yerba" ect

What I need most is the word for "high" or "stoned" moreso than words for "weed".

Even if you're not looking for "weed", it would be cool to have a T-shirt that says: "Fumen yerba" which is commanding everyone to somke weed =p

In Spain:
To get high ~ ponerse, meterse, pillar una fumada, pillar un moco, pegarse una fumada.

Stoned ~ fumado, flipado.

Weed ~ María, hierba/césped (lit. grass).

Bud ~ Cogollo.

Pipe ~ Pipa, cachimba.

Blunt ~ Porro, petardo (firecracker), peta, leño (big wooden stick), canuto (tube), cañón (cannon), verde (green, if made of mj, usually combined with others, e.g. leño verde), chuflo, bate (bat), palo (stick), rama (branch), caño/cañería (water piping), flauta (flute). Almost anything referring to the long, cylindrical nature of a blunt is allowed.

To be baked ~ Pillar un amarillo (lit. to get yellow, from the pale-yellowish color of the skin on intoxication).

Hashish ~ Costo, chocolate, piedra (stone), china (sand grain, refers to the small pieces of hashish used when mixed with tobacco).

And we don't use malta nor mota.

I would say it sounds more like "Mo(l)k-ta" or "Moch-ta"

I live in Northern California, where there's plenty of weed and Mexicans, and subsequently have spent time smoking with Mexicans.

im in southern cal and like 25 miles from the border my school is like 50% hispanic

they usually say mota im positive thats what they say it. my spanish teacher taught us what mota means haha.

mota is correct from all I've learned, in construction you pick up a lot of spanish, Mocos=spooge
