alls i could score was peat moss and not 5050 so how do i mske 5050 mix just peat and verm right? tjamx

mix exactly 50 cups of verm with 50 cups of peat. dont use any oter denominations, you dnt want omss up the rato of 50:50

If you don't want to make 100 cups worth of substrate, you can use 1 cup peat to 1 cup vermiculite and still maintain the 50/50 ratio. It's the same thing as 1:1 cuz 50/50=1/1

Peat/Verm. 50-50 you will need to add some limestone, calcium, chalk or oyster shell to balance the pH. Peat by it self is too acidic.

i tried straight 50/50, didn't have any calciaum carbonate, gotta get some... Hope it still works...
