Dunk dunk dunk dunk dunk dunk dunk for 24 hours. Better make it 25. And if you're feeling a bit experimental...use milk! I hear that it produces fantastic results!!!

I would not recomend dunking for 24 hours! 12 hours is suffient. one should never dunk longer than 24 hours. but i forgot about a cake one time and it stayed dunked for 24 hours, it became a nasty slimy cake. just dunk for 12 hours, you will love the results.

i used the inner reservoir on a few cakes, i wont be doing that again. your right, the water just comes out the bottom!

to dunk you need to fill a jar about half way with water, then put the cake in the water. this way it soaks in the water. dunk for about 12 hours or so. i dunk after every flushand i find it very necessary. it increases flushes dramaticly IMO.

Ralph,

when you insert a straw do you drill a hole or make the hole as in the inner reservoir tek? and the hole should only be about 3/4 the way down the cake right? otherwise the straw couldnt hold the water. i want to try this tek and compare it to the inner reservoir tek.
