Fighting with girlfriend...

...fuck does it ever end? Im a pretty easy going guy, I don't want to do anything but have a good time. I hold a full time job, take care of things at home, but no matter what I do she bitches at me. No different than all the women in my life I guess, eventually if a relationship goes on long enough it becomes a major bitch-fest.
So Im on my sixth beer and contemplating if I should become single again... and maybe stay that way now. Im 38 and have yet to meet a girl that doesn't become controlling after a certain amount of time.

*sigh* I need a cool chick that just wants to hang out and have fun  :frown:

I haven't seen and won't see my girlfriend all day. She and I are totally cool and I love her to death and want to have her babies.  But she can't seem to be alone for too long. It's not controlling though...it's neediness.

I can't wait to tell her that I'm probably hanging out with shroomerites all night tomorrow. :rolleyes:

Someone has lost perspective. Could be either of you since I don't know the scenario. Is she on some bullshit, like, "you don't make enough money"? Or is it more like, "you're a drug addict and I'm embarrassed that I'm dating you". From your post it sounds more like the first one. If that's the case you should just lay it out plain and simple, like, "I care about you and want to do whatever it takes for us to be happy, together, forever, but if you don't stop complaining It's over". There is no reason to settle for crappy relations. My "ball and chain" has definitely done her share of complaining, but it's all about compromises. Sometimes we both have to change to make it work. As time goes on things get easier, at least it has for me..

Next time you do her doggystyle thrust her head through the wall and say sorry it was an accident, I got carried away. Or simply just punch her in the back of the head. That'll teach her to stop being a whiney bitch
