Hoffmann is still alive so I very much doubt he reincarnated. There is a thread somewhere about famous members. Apparently there are some, one of the mods said who knew who some were but gave no further details.

Wasn't it Tesla's idea to transfer AC power across long distances, then Thomas Edison stole it from him.

tesla was edisons partner for years
tesla invented alternating curents, insted of direct currents, wich edison used.
eventualy this drove them apart. but edison eventualy tranfered over to AC to. but he diddnt really "steal it"

I could of sworn that Thomas Edison was all for DC current but someone else argued that it would be more efficient to use AC current for long distances.

In the "War of Currents" era in the late 1880s, Nikola Tesla and Thomas Edison became adversaries due to Edison's promotion of direct current (DC) for electric power distribution over the more efficient alternating current (AC) advocated by Tesla.

During the initial years of electricity distribution, Edison's direct current was the standard for the United States and Edison was not disposed to lose all his patent royalties. Direct current worked well for the incandescent lamps that were the principal load of the day. From his work with rotary magnetic fields, Tesla devised a system for generation, transmission, and use of AC power. He partnered with George Westinghouse to commercialize this system. Westinghouse had previously bought the rights to Tesla's polyphase system patents and other patents for AC transformers from Lucien Gaulard and John Dixon Gibbs.

Some religions beleive that we are are one. It makes sense too if you think about it. If we are all composed of the same instincts and information on life when we are born to give us the ability to learn and interact with the enviroment. What differs would be that of the psyhical sense Ex: size of brain, body, composure of the brain etc.. and the difference on how we are raised and the difference of experiences we each experience. This is what makes us who we are. So even if they were to be reincarnated they would be much different in the next life than in the last.
