Computer fans for ventilation?!!

Is this posible and if so how do i give it power, just a transformer or do i need something more specialized?

I am planning to try the same thing. One of the suggestions was to just get an old power supply from a defunct computer to use as the power source. As long as you keep it away from moisture, it should work.
