Question about using computer fan w/glove box?

I was reading this tek about making a glove box with a computer fan. You'll notice in the tek that it says to hook up a computer fan with a cut off power cord. Well, obviously there are dangers involved and we all know that you can't just hook up a 12V fan to a 110V power outlet, right? Are there any electrically inclined people out there who know what kind of adapters could be used to be able to hook up a 12V fan to a home power outlet? If I had a spare, I'd just use a computer power supply, but I don't. Has anyone actually used this glove box tek??

Of course! A power adapter! I forgot that those come in 12V power....could probably find one at the flea market for nothing. Thanks for the enlightenment!

Make shure that the 120 volt ac adapter has enuff VA or volt amperage capacity to run your fan or you will smoke the adapter... :ooo:
