Help is urgently needed.

The thing is, I have one jar out of ten that has the slight possibility to be contaminated. The day after innoculation I noticed a little red dot in there. I decided to ignore it and see what happens. Well the dot never got bigger and mycelium is actually ontop of it. Now I was wondering if it was maybe something that got into the jar while I was making the substrate. Maybe its some miscolord verm.
My question is, since this little dot is only a dot and hasnt progressed in anyway and has actually been coverd in mycelium, should I try and birth it with the rest or keep it seperate? If it does start producing can I eat the mushroom that came off it? Have any of you ever had this situation before?

I often have weird color looking pieces of vermiculite in my jars : black, yellow, orange or grey. If it has been here since the first day, if it hadn't grow, and if mycelium is colonysing it, I would say you have nothing at all to worry about. If you want to be sure, try picking the red dot when you birth your cake and look at it. It should be verm.
I often have really weird colors with my verm/perlite, from yellow to bright red. At first, I was paranoid, but I've learn from it. When I have a doubt, I always separate the cake from the others and wait so that I can see the evolution. If it's a contamn, I have a very close look. You learn a lot from it !

Indeed. If you are paranoid you could also slice your cake up and inspect it.

My friend has noticed a lot of "stuff" in the jars after innoculation that was not there before. Like you mention, little colored areas that look like contamination, but never do anything. My friend finally figured out that most of these spots were there all along. They are usually just vermeculite that is refracting the light in a different hue or something similiar. Mycelium can also kill off some contamination. You might have had a small bit of something nasty in there, but the mycelium came along and kicked its ass. Either way, keep an eye on it, but if it disappears or doesn't grow then you are probably fine. I agree with tomldp, seperate the cake from the others and watch it.
If it is a contaminate, chuck the jar. Don't bother with an autopsy unless you have the safty gear and training to keep you and the contamination seperated.
