Jiffy Mix w/ Fertilizer

I was checking out the lawn and garden section of walmat today looking for Jiffy mix when I noticed it had fertilizer thrown in the mix. I would really like to use this stuff for Casings because of the fact that its easy to buy, and it already has the ph levels taken care of.
I checked out the ingredients on the back and it listed simply
Verm
Peat
Lime
Fertilizer

I do plan on sterilizing this mix in quart jars in my pressure cooker.

Does anyone know if the fertilizer thats included in the mix will effect my casings in one way or the other?
All they had was the jiffy mix "plus" they called it. a.k.a. jiffy mix with fertilizer.

get the normal jiffy mix because the fertilizer is easily contaminated. You only want the casing for moisture. Therefore you would do better with a verm/peat mix or coco coir. Or you could do the Annonized mix as Joshua calls it. it is the casing mix that Anno uses from the Pictures forum and apparently it is very good. It is:

5 parts Verm
5 parts Coco Coir
5 parts Peat Moss
1 part lime
1 part oyst shell

make it nice and moist but not too wet.
